I used flat while i trained/worked at St Georges, Epsom, Kingston, and St Heliers. All are easily commutable with the major advantage of living in Wimbledon! (It's worth mentioning that the A3 is just 6 miles away and therefore Guildford and Chertsey are relatively accessible too).
